How we respond

Every request is reviewed by outside counsel in Zurich. Where a request is valid under Swiss law we reply truthfully: we hold no data that identifies a user or their activity. Where a request is not valid, we say so and publish it here.

Seizures

No hardware was seized in this period. The single seizure in our history, in 2024, yielded nothing because the node ran from memory. The report for that period describes the event in full.

Gag orders

We have never received a gag order. If we do, the warrant canary will stop being renewed.
